Myckle IK

Myckle IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Myckle IK, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Myckle IK could be found in Group 42 together with KF Prizren Spor, Uppåkra IF and IBV. Myckle IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against HK with 0-1. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Myckle comes from Skellefteå which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skellefteå does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Backatorp IF, Gamla Upsala SK, Skattkärrs IF, BK Häcken, Skepplanda BTK, Enebybergs IF, Örebro SK, KF Prizren Spor and Hjuvik/Zenith).
