SC Sperber

SC Sperber was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to SC Sperber, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof SC Sperber could be found in Group 33 together with Sundbybergs IK 2, International College and IK Zenith. SC Sperber continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Montrouge FC 92 with 0-4. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Sperber comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: SC Egenbuettel, SV Rugenbergen, SV Rönneburg, SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg, SG LTW Leezen, Ellerau, SC, TSC Wellingsbüttel, Halstenbek-Rellingen SV, TSV Buchholz 08 and SC Sternschanze).
