Tårnby FF

Tårnby FF was one of 15 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Tårnby FF, 111 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Tårnby FF could be found in Group 8 together with Cayyolu FC, V. Frölunda IF 1 and Hammarby IF. Tårnby FF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Accademia Gaggiano with 3-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Accademia Gaggiano and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 11. Tårnby comes from 2770 Kastrup which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 2770 Kastrup does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LB07, AB Tårnby, Vellinge IF, Kvarnby IK, Uppåkra IF and Åkarps IF).
