Luleå SK

Luleå SK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Luleå SK, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Luleå SK could be found in Group 4 together with Futebol Futuro, Stenungsunds IF and Dallas Texans. Luleå SK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Stensätra IF with 1-3. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Luleå SK comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (IFK Luleå, Bergnäsets AIK, Lira BK, Notvikens IK, LSK/Lira, Luleå Sportklubb and Trångfors IF).
