Broby IF

Broby IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Broby IF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Broby IF could be found in Group 10 together with Nättraby GoIF, IFK Viksjö and America Elite 1. Broby IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stenungsunds IF with 0-4. In the Final, Bele Barkarby FF won over Gustafs GoIF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 17. Broby comes from Broby which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Broby does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: IFK Hässleholm, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, IFK Osby, Markaryds IF, Kristianstad DFF, Vittsjö DFK, Sösdala IF, Hässleholms IF, Bjärnums GoIF and Åhus HBK).
