Näsvikens IK

Näsvikens IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Näsvikens IK, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Näsvikens IK could be found in Group 16 together with Tuve IF, Mantorps FF and IBV. Näsvikens IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ulricehamns IFK with 0-1. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Näsvikens comes from Forsa which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Forsa does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (IF Team Hudik, Strands IF and Delsbo IF).
