SSV Plockhorst

SSV Plockhorst was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to SSV Plockhorst, 32 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof SSV Plockhorst could be found in Group 8 together with Asarums IF/FK, WRC Colts and Lerkils IF. SSV Plockhorst continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jitex FC with 0-5. In the Final, Södra Sandby IF won over Telge United FF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 19. Plockhorst comes from Uetze which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uetze does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (MTV Eintracht Celle, Freie Turnerschaft Braunschweig and TSV Friesen Hänigsen).
