Väderstad IK

Väderstad IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Väderstad IK, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Väderstad IK could be found in Group 33 together with KF Feronikeli, Oppsal IF and Hallstahammars SK. Väderstad IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sander IL with 1-2. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Väderstad comes from Väderstad which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Väderstad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Mjölby Södra IF, Tranås FF, Mjölby AI/FF and Mantorps FF).
