Notvikens IK

Notvikens IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Notvikens IK, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Notvikens IK could be found in Group 48 together with Selfoss 1, Vfl Weiße Elf Nordhorn and KF Gjakova. Notvikens IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 48. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna City FK 2 with 2-4. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Notvikens comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (IFK Luleå, Bergnäsets AIK, Lira BK, LSK/Lira, Luleå Sportklubb , Luleå SK, Svartbjörnsbyns IF and Trångfors IF).
