Tegs SK

Tegs SK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Tegs SK, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Tegs SK could be found in Group 10 together with CD Inter Vista Alegre, Kisa BK and Ludvika FK. Tegs SK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 0-4. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Tegs SK comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gimonäs Umeå IF, Hörnefors IF, Ersboda SK, IFK Holmsund/Sandviks IK, IFK Umeå/Mariehem, Sävar IK, Sörfors IF, Sandåkerns SK, Mariehem SK and Spölands IF).
