IFK Trelleborg

IFK Trelleborg was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to IFK Trelleborg, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof IFK Trelleborg could be found in Group 21 together with Bergnäsets AIK, KFV Segeberg and Hovås-Billdal IF. IFK Trelleborg continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Munka-Ljungby IF with 2-3. In the Final, Tölö IF won over Rävåsens IK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 14. IFK Trelleborg comes from Trelleborg which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trelleborg does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LB07, Skurups AIF, Vellinge IF, Kvarnby IK and Dalby GIF).
