IFK Osby

IFK Osby was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Osby, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof IFK Osby could be found in Group 14 together with IF Brommapojkarna, ISA Italia and Eskilsminne IF. IFK Osby continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Innstrandens IL with 0-1. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. IFK Osby comes from Osby which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Osby does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Broby IF, IFK Hässleholm, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Älmhults IF, Markaryds IF, Vittsjö DFK, Hässleholms IF and Bjärnums GoIF).
