Hjärsås/Värestorp IF

Hjärsås/Värestorp IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Hjärsås/Värestorp IF could be found in Group 2 together with Täby IS, Team Noga and IFK Aspudden-Tellus. Hjärsås/Värestorp IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-1. In the Final, Bergdalens IK won over DFF, Vasalunds and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 14. Hjärsås/Värestorp comes from Immeln which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Immeln does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Broby IF, IFK Hässleholm, Lörby IF, IFK Osby, Kristianstad DFF, Hässleholms IF, Bjärnums GoIF, Åhus HBK, Asarums IF/FK and Mjällby AIF).
