Korskrogens IK

Korskrogens IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Korskrogens IK, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Korskrogens IK could be found in Group 20 together with P18 IK 2, Oppsal IF and IF Böljan. Korskrogens IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Sundsvalls DFF 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Korskrogens comes from FÄRILA which lies approximately 500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Korskrogens IK, the club Färila/Korskrogen does also originate from the area around FÄRILA.
