Edenvale Football Club

Edenvale Football Club was one of four clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Edenvale Football Club, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Edenvale Football Club could be found in Group 28 together with FC Viktoria Heiden, Hovås-Billdal IF 2 and SK Sprint-Jeløy. Edenvale Football Club continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Robertsham F.C. with 1-4. In the Final, CEF 18 Tucuman won over Club Reunion and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 13. Edenvale Football comes from 2007 Bedfordview which lies approximately 9500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 2007 Bedfordview does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Robertsham F.C. and Balfour Alexandra FC).
