Söderköping IK

Söderköping IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Söderköping IK, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Söderköping IK could be found in Group 16 together with Kärra Klareberg IF, SF Seals PSG and Montrouge FC 92. Söderköping IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against KSV Klein-Karben 1 with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Berga won over GAIS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 14. Söderköping comes from Söderköping which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Söderköping does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Lindö FF Norrköping, Åtvidabergs FF, Norrköping City DFF and Smedby AIS).
