Ödsmåls IK

Ödsmåls IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Ödsmåls IK, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Ödsmåls IK could be found in Group 12 together with Brämhults IK, Tus Borgloh 2 and Espoire Tunis. Ödsmåls IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Finlandia-Pallo IF with 0-3. In the Final, Beirut FAC won over San Javier Guadalajara and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 12. Ödsmåls comes from Ödsmål which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ödsmål does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Vallens IF, Tuve IF, Trollhättans BoIS, IFK Uddevalla, Kärra KIF, Herrestads AIF, Ytterby IS, Ale U United, Stenungsunds IF and IK Oddevold).
