Brage, IK

Brage, IK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Brage, IK, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Brage, IK could be found in Group 3 together with Pequeninos do Jockey, Örgryte IS and Roanoke Star Elite. Brage, IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against ACD Granja Nova e Casal da Cruz with 1-2. In the Final, Onsala BK won over HK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Brage, comes from Borlänge which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borlänge does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Korsnäs IF and Kvarnsvedens IK).
