Sundsvalls DFF

Sundsvalls DFF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sundsvalls DFF, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Sundsvalls DFF could be found in Group 23 together with Bk Höllviken 1, SK Djerv 1919 and TUSA NC. Sundsvalls DFF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lindome GIF with 0-2. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Sundsvalls DFF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off B, but lost it against Ulricehamns IFK with 0-3. Sundsvalls DFF comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (IFK Timrå, GIF Sundsvall and Njurunda IK).
