Sports Beijing FC

Sports Beijing FC was one of five clubs from China that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Sports Beijing FC, 120 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Sports Beijing FC could be found in Group 18 together with Assyriska FF, Gunnilse IS and Arsenal Afidnon. Sports Beijing FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg 2 with 1-5. In the Final, TJK Legion Tallinn won over Råslätts SK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Sports Beijing FC comes from Beijing which lies approximately 7100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Sports Beijing FC, the club Beijing Ziyan does also originate from the area around Beijing.
