Sandsbro AIK

Sandsbro AIK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sandsbro AIK, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Sandsbro AIK could be found in Group 18 together with IF Brommapojkarna 15, Kristianstad BoIS 2 and Beirut FAC. Sandsbro AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Melleruds IF with 2-4. In the Final, Landvetter IS won over Leiknir and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Sandsbro AIK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Växjö DFF, Vederslöv/Gransholms IF, Lessebo GoIF and FC Sufstar).
