FC Amhult was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FC Amhult, 209 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof FC Amhult could be found in Group 28 together with ACD Granja Nova e Casal da Cruz, FK Lillehammer 1 and Ekerö IK 1. FC Amhult continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Cajamar FC with 1-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna 1 won over Senlis, U.S.M. and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. FC Amhult also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/8 Final in B13 Play off A, but lost it against Ada FC with 1-3. FC Amhult originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK, Tölö FF and Öckerö IF).
