Syrianska FC was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Syrianska FC, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Syrianska FC could be found in Group 12 together with Lerums IS, CECAP Cruz Azul and SV Rönneburg. Syrianska FC continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against CEF 18 Tucuman with 0-3. In the Final, CEF 18 Tucuman won over Club Reunion and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 13. Syrianska FC comes from Södertälje which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södertälje does also provide 51 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Spånga IS FK, IF Brommapojkarna, AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Tullinge TP, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, Värtans IK, DFF, Vasalunds, Boo FF and IFK Lidingö FK).
