Vellinge IF

Vellinge IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vellinge IF, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Vellinge IF could be found in Group 15 together with NJS 2, Halstenbek-Rellingen SV 2 and Kick Off Academy. Vellinge IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SV Preussen Reinfeld with 1-4. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Vellinge comes from VELLINGE which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around VELLINGE does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, IFK Trelleborg, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LB07, Skurups AIF, AB Tårnby and Tårnby FF).
