LFC Growlers

LFC Growlers was the only club from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to LFC Growlers, 233 other teams from 41 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof LFC Growlers could be found in Group 6 together with Namsos IL, Gransholms/Vederslöv IF and SV Vorwärts Nordhorn. LFC Growlers continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Lidingö FK with 0-3. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. LFC Growlers comes from 5186 Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
