Ale U United

Ale U United was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ale U United, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Ale U United could be found in Group 39 together with Aalborg Chang, IK Sirius FK and Young Guns FA. Ale U United continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against First Touch FC with 0-1. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Ale U United comes from Älvängen which lies approximately 26 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Älvängen does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, IF Väster, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo IF , Landvetter IF, BK Bifrost, Fässbergs IF, Mölnlycke IF, IK Zenith and Azalea BK).
