IK Kongahälla

IK Kongahälla was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to IK Kongahälla, 56 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof IK Kongahälla could be found in Group 13 together with Nido Valle Dorado, Järla IF and Hällaryds IF. IK Kongahälla continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sveakurd FF with 3-4. In the Final, Intercups MX won over Empire FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14B. Kongahälla comes from Kungalv which lies approximately 15 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungalv does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: IFK Hindås, RCD Espanyol Academy Göteborg, Öjersjö IF/ Björndammen, Mölnlycke IF, Särö Kullavik IF, Lindome GIF, IFK Göteborg, IF Warta, Öckerö IF and Hermansby IF).
