Madrid Panthers

Madrid Panthers was one of 12 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Madrid Panthers, 83 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Madrid Panthers could be found in Group 7 together with Russell Martin Academy, Enskede IK, Råå IF and Qviding FIF. Madrid Panthers continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Throttur, FC 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Madrid Panthers comes from MADRID which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MADRID does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (C.F. Getafe Féminas, ED Moratalaz and Imperial Future).
