Kvarnsvedens IK

Kvarnsvedens IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Kvarnsvedens IK, 79 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Kvarnsvedens IK could be found in Group 19 together with Sunnanå SK, Altona 93 2 and KaPy. Kvarnsvedens IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Värnamo with 0-1. In the Final, Breidablik 1 won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Kvarnsvedens comes from Borlänge which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borlänge does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Islingby IK / IK Brage, Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK, Gustafs GoIF, Islingby IK and Slätta SK).
