JDFS Alberts

JDFS Alberts was one of three clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to JDFS Alberts, 181 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof JDFS Alberts could be found in Group 40 together with JSC Pitray-Olier Paris White, Randesund IL 2 and Ulricehamns IFK. JDFS Alberts continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Karlstad Fotboll with 0-1. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. JDFS Alberts also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against Live your world cup with 0-2. JDFS Alberts comes from RiGA which lies approximately 730 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than JDFS Alberts, the club Riga FC does also originate from the area around RiGA.
