Piteå IF

In addition to Piteå IF, 15 other teams from 8 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Piteå IF could be found in Group 3 together with Cerezo Osaka, SV Eutingen and FC Djursholm. Piteå IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 1-2. In the Final, Älvsjö AIK FF won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17).
