Märsta IK

Märsta IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Märsta IK, 82 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Märsta IK could be found in Group 17 together with Schalke Zero Quarto, Hisingsbacka FC and Grand Ouest Élite 47. Märsta IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against JFV Union 18 with 2-3. In the Final, Vita Youth 3 won over FC Black Stars Basel and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Märsta comes from Märsta which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Märsta does also provide 54 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Gamla Upsala SK, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus, IFK Stocksund, IK Frej and IFK Lidingö FK).
