FC Tokyo was one of two clubs from Japan that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). In addition to FC Tokyo, 35 other teams from 10 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof FC Tokyo could be found in Group 6 together with Helsingborgs IF, Östers IF and FC Dinamo Bucuresti 1948. FC Tokyo made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Sporting Lagos with 0-4. Thereby FC Tokyo finished second in B17E Play off A during Gothia Cup 2024.
