Racing Power FC was one of 11 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Racing Power FC, 60 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Racing Power FC could be found in Group 2 together with Walddörfer SV, Sickla IF 1 and Skellefteå FC. Racing Power FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Enskede IK with 0-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Racing Power FC comes from Almada which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Almada does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Cascais, EFB Oeiras, ADA 2015, CF Colegio Atlantico, AFD Torre and AF Alcoitão).
