Club Seminario was one of two clubs from Uruguay that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Club Seminario, 110 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Club Seminario could be found in Group 15 together with Storfors AIK, NTSV Strand 08 1 and Lycée International St Germain en Laye. Club Seminario continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Premier Soccer Academy with 0-1. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Swindon Town FITC Red and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Seminario comes from Montevideo which lies approximately 12000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
