Kvarnby IK

Kvarnby IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Kvarnby IK, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Kvarnby IK could be found in Group 46 together with Altona 93, KSC Olve and Club Municipal de Casablanca. Kvarnby IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Breidablik 1 with 0-6. In the Final, CD Mercedarios won over MUKP Dabrowa Gornicza and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Kvarnby IK also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B13 Play off A, but lost it against BK Häcken 1 with 0-1. Kvarnby comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: BK Höllviken, Lunds FF, BK Flagg, Skurups AIF, Lunds BoiS, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Bjärreds IF, AC Trelleborg, Landskrona BoIS and IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo).
