Helsingborgs IF

In addition to Helsingborgs IF, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Helsingborgs IF could be found in Group 3 together with IK Oddevold, Djurgårdens IF and GAIS. Helsingborgs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Malmö FF with 3-5. In the Final, Malmö FF won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. Helsingborgs IF also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/8 Final in SEF Play off A, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 1-3.
