Djurgårdens IF

In addition to Djurgårdens IF, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Djurgårdens IF could be found in Group 3 together with IK Oddevold, Helsingborgs IF and GAIS. Djurgårdens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 1-4. In the Final, Malmö FF won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. Djurgårdens IF also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the final in Play off A, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 4-5 and ended up in second place.
