BK Häcken

In addition to BK Häcken, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof BK Häcken could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Norrköping, Östers IF and Degerfors IF. BK Häcken continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-3. In the Final, Malmö FF won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. BK Häcken also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the Semi final in SEF Play off A, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF with 1-4.
