Magnet Youth Sports Academy

Magnet Youth Sports Academy was one of two clubs from Tanzania that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Magnet Youth Sports Academy, 110 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Magnet Youth Sports Academy could be found in Group 17 together with TSV Altenholz, Finlandia Pallo AIF and A.S.D. ATLETICO S.P.M. CALCIO. Magnet Youth Sports Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Örby IS/Söder United with 3-5. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Swindon Town FITC Red and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Magnet Youth Sports Academy also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B16 Play off A, but lost it against Live your world cup with 0-1. Magnet Youth Sports Academy comes from Dar es Salaam which lies approximately 7600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Magnet Youth Sports Academy, the club FEZA International SA does also originate from the area around Dar es Salaam.
