Herrestads AIF

Herrestads AIF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Herrestads AIF, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Herrestads AIF could be found in Group 14 together with Karlbergs BK, Pumas Tepotzotlan and VfL Westercelle. Herrestads AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Makedonikos FC with 0-1. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Herrestads AIF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black with 0-4. Herrestads AIF comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 68 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Orust FC, Skoftebyns IF, Vänersborgs FK, Edet FK, Halvorstorps IS, Stenungsunds IF, Torp GoIF, IFK Uddevalla, Vallens IF and Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK).
