Sörskogens IF

Sörskogens IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sörskogens IF, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Sörskogens IF could be found in Group 31 together with Schulz Coaching Atletico, Cosmos F.C. and Qviding FIF 2. Sörskogens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Athens Stars with 0-2. In the Final, Imperial Future won over RS Sports and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Sörskogens comes from Huddinge which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Huddinge does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
