Academia Sport Madrid

Academia Sport Madrid was one of five clubs from Chile that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Academia Sport Madrid, 80 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Academia Sport Madrid could be found in Group 7 together with LAZ Stockerau 2, V. Frölunda IF 2 and MTV Treubund Lüneburg. Academia Sport Madrid continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg 2 with 0-5. In the Final, GAIS won over RS Sports and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Academia Sport Madrid comes from CHILE which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around CHILE does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Evolution Futbol Academy, CF Interclubes Mexico, Rayados Tecamachalco, Real Sociedad Chihuahua, Seleccion Edo. de Mex, Nido Valle Dorado, Atletico Echegaray, IFAC, Atletico Real Morelos and Tec. de Monterrey).
