Montreuil Football Club

Montreuil Football Club was one of 31 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Montreuil Football Club, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Montreuil Football Club could be found in Group 31 together with Prep Schools District, Hanvikens SK and Eriksbergs IF. Montreuil Football Club continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Landvetter IS with 5-6. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Montreuil Football comes from Montreuil sous Bois which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Montreuil sous Bois does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: FC Villennes Orgeval, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris, Section Elite Academy, Arsmon Football Club, Championnet Sports, FC Saint Cloud, MG SPORT, US Montesson, JFF Academy and Lycée International St Germain en Laye).
