In addition to the two Fylkir teams, 180 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Fylkir 1 could be found in Group 13 together with Nigerian Eagles, IFK Falköping FF and Us Gouvieux. Fylkir 1 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna IP08:1 with 1-3. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Fylkir also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 5-7.
