Desert Rangers Dubai

Desert Rangers Dubai was one of 9 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Desert Rangers Dubai, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Desert Rangers Dubai could be found in Group 9 together with ED Moratalaz, Råå IF and Halvorstorps IS. Desert Rangers Dubai continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Raufoss Fotball 2 with 0-3. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Desert Rangers Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Empire FC, HITS, Azul FC, Barca Academy Dubai, Argentina Quattro Football Academy, Desert Falcon FC and Go-Pro Sports).
