Vimmerby IF

Vimmerby IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Vimmerby IF, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Vimmerby IF could be found in Group 34 together with Real Sociedad Chihuahua, Vikingur 2 and Sandåkerns SK. Vimmerby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against HK 1 with 0-9. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Vimmerby comes from Vimmerby which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
