Hovmantorp GoIF

Hovmantorp GoIF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Hovmantorp GoIF, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Hovmantorp GoIF could be found in Group 36 together with Torslanda IK, FK Bromma, ProGen FC and Landvetter IS. Hovmantorp GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Azul FC with 1-2. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Hovmantorp GoIF comes from Hovmantorp which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hovmantorp does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Emmaboda IS, Växjö DFF, Sandsbro AIK and Östers IF).
