Linköpings FF

Linköpings FF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Linköpings FF, 82 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Linköpings FF could be found in Group 3 together with CF Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, EDY Sport Enrichment Center and Championnet Sports. Linköpings FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Qviding FIF 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Vita Youth 3 won over FC Black Stars Basel and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Linköpings FF also participated in Boys 17 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in B17 Play off B, but lost it against Anderstorp IF with 0-2. Linköpings comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Lotorps IF, Mjölby AI/FF, Mantorps FF, Malmslätts AIK, Tallboda IF, IK Sleipner, IK Östria Lambohov and IFK Norrköping).
