IFK Kalmar

IFK Kalmar was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to IFK Kalmar, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof IFK Kalmar could be found in Group 3 together with Älta IF, NorCal Premier PDP and Altona 93. IFK Kalmar continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mariebo IK/Haga with 0-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. IFK Kalmar comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Nybro IF, Möre BK, Hossmo BK and Kalmar FF).
